Fused at a molecular genetic level are three 20th century American icons: Frankenstein, Chicago World's Fair serial killer HH Holmes, and Frank Lloyd Wright. In this unique production, three builders of limitless imagination are contained in a singel architect's body as he struggles to interpret the tremendous personal losses of his conglomerate life. Drawing on the traditional Frankenstein story, the brutal fire/murder of Wright's wife and children, and the clever, ruthless multiple murders of Holmes, Axis births a multi-layered journey into the language of memory and resolution.
